Aaron Gustine will enter his fourth season at the helm of the storied Earlham College men's soccer program in 2022, after making the transition from long-time assistant to head coach in Spring 2019.

Gustine coached Caleb Wilgen and Devin Fitzgibon to All-HCAC selctions in the 2021 season.

During the COVID-impacted 2020-21 season, Gustine led the Quakers to a 2-8-0 record, 2-7-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matches, with victories over Anderson and Bluffton. Senior Jeffrey Douyere and first year Quentin Berry were both tabbed for Honorable Mention All-HCAC honors

Gustine guided the Quakers to a 4-12-2 record in his first season as head coach, the program's best record in three seasons, with a 3-6-0 record and seventh-place finish in the HCAC. Jeffery Douyere and Andrew Belec both earned Honorable Mention All-HCAC accolades in Gustine's first season, marking the second straight season that the Quakers placed multiple players on the All-Conference teams.

Gustine was named head men's soccer coach on April 11, 2019, by Senior Director of Athletics Julie Kline, after four seasons as an assistant to previous head coach Sam Byrd.

"We are looking forward to seeing the level of excellence rise within our men's soccer program and the lives of our student-athletes transformed under Aaron's leadership," said Kline at the time of Gustine's hiring.

Gustine's time on the Earlham touchline includes the 2015 campaign, when the Quakers posted a 9-7-1 record, 6-2-1 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Earlham finished third in the conference standings, earning the program's third berth in five seasons to the HCAC Men's Soccer Tournament.

Prior to his arrival at Earlham, Gustine served as an assistant coach at Emory & Henry College (Virginia) for the 2014 season.

Gustine graduated from Ferrum College (Virginia) with a degree in business and a minor in economics. A four-year letterman for the men's soccer program, Gustine set Ferrum career records for goals, assists, and points. For his efforts, Gustine was a three-time All-USA South honoree.

Gustine has coached club soccer for nine years. Currently he is working with Cincinnati United Premier's National League Pro and Elite 64 teams. He previously coached with Valley AFC out of Roanoke, Va. He currently holds USSF and USC coaching licenses.
