Alex Aden was named assistant athletic trainer at Union University in June 2023. He was promoted to this position after two years as a graduate assistant with the Union Sports Medicine Program. 

Aden graduate from Union University in 2021 with a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training. He followed with a Masters of Business Administration degree from Union in 2023. While at Union, Aden was a member of the Union Jaxx Ultimate Frisbee Club Team from 2017-22. He helped lead his team to a second place finish in the southeast region tournament. 

In the profession, Aden has earned certifications as an ATC and LAT. 

Aden is a graduate of Crockett County High School in 2017 and was an all-district tennis play for the Cavaliers.

Aden is the son of Kathy Aden.
