Alex Velazquez enters his first season as an assistant coach for the men's soccer program in 2022. 

Velazquez comes to Caldwell with coaching experience with the Ironbound Soccer Club. He served as the Director of Coaching from 2005-08 and is a member of the Developmental Soccer Committee. Velazquez has coached the ’01 Elite, ’04 Barca, U18 Elite, U16 Predators and Crusaders as part of his coaching tenure with the organization.

Velazquez has also coached junior varsity at the high school level.
