Cormack joins the Highlanders after nine years at his alma mater, St. Francis Brooklyn, where he served as a First Assistant Coach and an Associate Head Coach.

"I am really excited to welcome Andy and his family to the Radford community, University, and our soccer program," said Coach Barrett. "He has proven to be a successful student, player, and coach at the Division 1 level. His high level of experience and professionalism will be a huge asset in all aspects of our program going forward."

He was instrumental in leading the Terriers to three Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships, four NEC regular season titles, five NEC Tournament finalist honors, three NCAA Tournament appearances and one appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

He, along with Director of Soccer/Head Coach Tom Giovatto and assistant coach Jason Orban, were named NEC Coaching Staff of the Year four times and United Soccer Coaches Northeast Regional Coaching Staff of the Year two times. They were able chosen as the ECAC Coaching Staff of the Year and BigAppleSoccer.com Coaching Staff of the Year each once each.

The Plymouth, England native helped recruit some of the top players in the NEC and the greater Northeast region during his time as a coach on Remsen Street. Under his watch, St. Francis had two NEC Players of the Year, four NEC Defensive Players of the Year, one NEC Rookie of the Year, 31 All-Conference honors, 16 All-NEC Tournament honors, nine NEC All-Rookie honors, six Northeast Regional honors and three All-American honors.

With Cormack's help, five Terriers went on to sign professional contracts and St. Francis had its first ever selection in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft.

His coaching accomplishments only add to the legacy he created at St. Francis as a student-athlete; scoring back-to-back golden goals to win the NEC Championship in 2013 and 2014, and winning multiple All-Conference and all-Northeast region awards in the process.

Cormack was also the head coach of the B2004/2005 Blue teams at Downtown United Soccer Club and previously served as the head coach of the Brooklyn Friends Girls Varsity team.

Cormack earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Cultural Studies and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management. In addition, he earned a minor in Sports Management.

He and his wife Maggie have two children, William and Paula.
