Brandon Bautista has been the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at CMU since before the fall 2021 season. Bautista came to Colorado Mesa after serving as the assistant at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia.

Prior to Alderson Broaddus, he fulfilled the same role at Eastern New Mexico, where he worked under current Mavs head coach Jon Fridal. Bautista assisted in all aspects of the program including recruiting, session planning, tactical analysis, and day-to-day operations. The Greyhounds recorded a program best 12-5-1 record during his tenure including three wins over ranked opponents, reaching as high as the 9th overall national ranking on United Soccer Coaches. In addition to earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, the Greyhounds also boasted five All-Conference Team honorees, one D2CCA Second Team All-South Central Region member, and two USC Third Team All-South Central Region members.

Prior to coaching, the El Paso, Texas native spent two seasons with the Greyhounds appearing in 30 games, making 14 starts at midfielder. Prior to joining ENMU, he was a member of the West Texas A&M soccer team from 2014-2016.

Bautista earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science from West Texas A&M in the Spring of 2017 and finished his Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in the Spring of 2020.
