Brett Sabol took over the Strength and Conditioning position in December, 2014 and is the third head strength and conditioning coach in school history.

A Towson University graduate, Sabol came to SU after serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at a private training facility in North Carolina.

Prior to that experience, Sabol served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Gardner-Webb University and as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Loyola (Maryland) University.

As the head of the Shenandoah strength and conditioning staff, Sabol works with the Hornets 500+ student-athletes and 22 intercollegiate athletic programs.

In the spring of 2018, the student-athletes at Shenandoah honored Sabol with the first-ever 'Buzzy Award' for outstanding staff member.
