Bianucci is in his 5th year as a member of the Cal Poly Humboldt men’s soccer coaching staff.  He came to Cal Poly Humboldt in the Fall of 2018. His primary responsibilities are recruiting, assisting in training, goalkeeper training and opponent analysis.

Brian came to Cal Poly Humboldt from Sonoma State where he was the volunteer assistant coach from 2017-18.  During his time at Sonoma State, Bianucci helped with scouting, recruiting, game day management and helped run training sessions.

He started his coaching career in youth soccer coaching for North Coast FC from 2012-17 as well as one season at Santa Rosa United following his time at North Coast FC.

Brian was a two-year letter-winner for the men’s soccer team at Dominican and the team captain from 2011-12.  He was a member of the Santa Rosa Junior College Soccer Team in Santa Rosa, Calif., from 2008-10.

He received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Liberal Studies/Teacher Preparation from Dominican as well as his Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduating from Dominican, Brian spent two years teaching elementary PE before deciding to pursue coaching full-time. He went back to school and completed his Masters of Arts from Concordia University in Irvine, Calif., in Coaching and Sports Administration. Bianucci holds his USSF level C Coaching License.
