Bryan Weygand enters his 11th season as an assistant soccer coach with the Hillcats in 2019 working primarily with the goalkeepers for men's program.

In his 10 years at RSU, Weygand has directed two Sooner Athletic Conference Goalkeepers of the Year. Sean Surridge from the Hillcats' men's team was named SAC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2010 and in 2011, women’s goalkeeper Chelsea McMullin earned the title. Under his watch, Hillcat goalkeepers have been named Heartland Conference and SAC Defensive Player of the Week 22 times and twice a RSU keeper was named NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week.

His coaching career began at Bixby High School as an assistant from 1996-2001. Weygand coached the Hurricane Futbal Club in 1999 and served as co-coach of the '88 Boys until their graduation in 2006. Since 2002, Weygand has overseen all goalkeeper training duties within the Hurricane club including the competitive, academy, and recreational divisions of the Broken Arrow Soccer Club.

Weygand played professional soccer with the Tulsa Roughnecks in a career that spanned from 1995-2005 in the USISL and PASL leagues. Weygand also works for Paetec Communications as an account manager. He is married to his wife, Kendi.
