Delcid enters his second full season with the Stony Brook men's soccer program after a highlight-filled career at New York Tech from July 2000 thru November 2020.

In his 19 years as the Bears' head man, he amassed over 200 career wins, 90 conference victories and a .630 winning percentage. The three-time NYCAC Coach of the Year (2002, 2003, 2005) was also recognized as the Regional Coach of the Year in 2005, the NYIT Coach of the Year for the 2007-08 athletic year and the East Coast Conference Coach of the Year twice in 2007 and 2014.

In his first season, he aided his side to the best turnaround in NCAA Division II Men's Soccer, turning a three-win club the previous year into a squad with an 11-5-1 resume. 

His accolades also include the Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association Sportmanship Award during the 2008 season and the East Coast Conference Sportsmanship Award in 2014-15. 

Over his 19 seasons at NYIT, 18 of them were winning seasons as he coached 19 players to the All North East Region Team,  six players to the Daktronics All Region Team, two NYCAC Rookies of the year and a pair of NYCAC players of the year.

He also led one ECC Defensive Player of the Year, one ECC Rookie of the Year, four United Soccer Coaches All-Americans, two Daktronics All-Americans and two United Soccer Coaches Scholar-Americans, three Capital One Academic All-Americans, four COSIDA Academic All-District athletes, 20 NYCAC All Conference Players, and 45 ECC All-Conference players.
