Cole Chapleski joined the MSU Denver staff in June, 2022, and begins his second season with the program in 2023.

He helped the Roadrunners to just their second 10-win season since 2016 in 2022, as the team went 10-6-2 overall while finishing a highly-competitive 4-5-1 in the RMAC. Forward Aidan Bates earned All-RMAC second team accolades, while goalkeeper Ross Miller and midfielder Adan Perez each earned All-RMAC honorable mention.

Chapleski, who was a graduate assistant for the Regis women’s for two seasons while earning his master’s in organizational leadership, is a former University of Denver team captain who was the Gatorade High School Player of the Year for Broomfield High School.

As a volunteer assistant, Chapleski helped Broomfield to the Class 5A state championship in 2019. Prior to that, he was a team head coach and player development program director for two years each at both for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club and for the Colorado Rush Soccer Club.

He served as the Director of Soccer Operations at his alma mater, the University of Denver for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. As a player for the Pioneers, Chapleski trained under Kirchhof, who as the time was DU’s director of soccer operations. Chapleski was an All-Summit League first team player for Denver and helped the team set numerous program records. He had four goals and three assists for a 13-3-4 team in 2013, three goals and two assists as the team went 11-6-3 in 2012, one goal and one assist in 2011 and made 15 appearances for the 2010 team.

Besides Broomfield, Chapleski also played for the Colorado Rush Academy and was a state champion and NSCAA All-American in addition to being the Colorado Gatorade.
