Dan Haines has been an assistant men's soccer coach at Lebanon Valley since 2019.

Haines was a four-year starter at centerback for perennial soccer powerhouse Messiah University. During his time at Messiah, he helped the Falcons win an NCCAA National Championship, and was on the first two Messiah teams to appear in the NCAA National Tournament.

Haines has had a very successful business career as a marketing executive at some of America's leading and fastest-growing companies, including the Campbell Soup Company and the Hershey Company.  He was also an integral member of the Executive Team that took Ollie’s Bargain Outlet public on the NASDAQ exchange in 2015.

Throughout his career, he has stayed very involved in soccer. He holds United States Soccer Federation national “C”, “D”, and “E” soccer coaching licenses. He has coached at several local club teams, including Campbelltown/Palmyra Youth Soccer Club, LDC United, HMMS, and PA Classics, as well as serving on the coaching staff at Hershey High School. He has coached at numerous college soccer camps at Messiah University, the U.S. Naval Academy, and Hope College. He has also been the color commentator for live broadcasts of Messiah University men's soccer matches. Haines is a member of the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Haines holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from Messiah University and an MBA from the George Washington University. He resides in Hershey, PA with his wife, Cindi. He has three grown children, Andrew (Wheaton College grad/football), Ben (Messiah University grad/soccer), and Rachel (Palm Beach Atlantic University grad).
