Daniel Lewis enters his third season as an Assistant Coach for the Knights in 2023. Lewis has been an Assistant of the Neumann Coaching staff since 2020 as Director of Goalkeeping. During his time as an assistant the Knights have gone to back-to-back conference championship games. In 2022, Knights goalkeeper Seth Walker was recognized with AEC all-conference honors.

Lewis was a member of the Neumann University Men's Soccer program as a player from 2015-2018. As part of senior leadership, the Knights went on to win the first Atlantic East Conference title in 2018.

Since early 2023, he has started working as a Goalkeeper Coach at Sporting Athletic Club. Lewis works with the MLS Next and NAL keepers primarily at Sporting AC.

Lewis worked as a Presidential Ambassador for three years during his time at Neumann, where he would attend university donorship events to represent the student body. He was the recipient of the 2015 & 2017 St. Francis and St. Clare Award, given to the athlete who best represents Neumann's RISES values.

Lewis graduated from Neumann University in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration.
