Drew Grisham enters his third season as goalkeeper coach for Transylvania men’s soccer for the Fall 2022 season.

In his first season in his current role, Grisham helped guide the Pioneers to one of the fiercest defenses in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, limiting opponents to a 0.6 goals-against average during the 2020-21 regular season.

With Grisham’s expertise and coaching, the Pioneers recorded six clean sheets in nine regular season matches during the 2020-21 campaign.

Grisham returned to the program for the 2020-2021 season after completing a decorated career for the Pioneers, playing four years in goal for Transy. A four-year starter, Grisham helped the Pioneers achieve back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament in 2017 and 2018. In his 2018 season, Grisham was an All-HCAC honoree and was also named the Most Valuable Player in the 2018 HCAC Tournament. He majored in Chemistry and has been working for a COVID-19 testing lab in Lexington since graduating in 2020.

In addition to being Transy's assistant goal coach, Grisham has been an assistant coach for Coach Melzer and his club teams at Lexington FC the last 3 years where he also did goalkeeper training.

Grisham grew up in Mason, OH where he played for Mason High School and club soccer for CUP.
