Ligon joined Eckerd in December 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She enters her second season with Eckerd in 2023-24. 

Prior to arriving at Eckerd College, she worked at Speights Academy and Team Mareesse Speights from June 2019 to December 2022. During the same time, she provided athletic training services for Largo High School from December 2016 to May 2022. Ligon also runs her own company, Legacy Sports Medicine, founded in 2019 to provide athletic training services and staffing for athletic events. 

Apart from Eckerd, she operates a small business, Millie Customs, that designs custom apparel. 

Ligon graduated with her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Florida International University in 2016. She has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Athletic Trainers Association of Florida since 2014.
