Frederic is entering his fifth year at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, now as Head Athletic Trainer and Strength

& Conditioning Coach, where he works with all 13 varsity sports. He is in charge of all athletic

training services including game coverage, injury assessment, treatment and management,

therapeutic exercise, modalities and rehabilitation, concussion testing, administrative record keeping,

and professional development. He is also a clinical preceptor for Seton Hall University athletic

training master degree students.

Frederic has over five years of direct patient care experience in a post-rehabilitation facility, JFK

Medical Center-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute and spent eight years as an Exercise Specialist and

Strength & Conditioning Coach at Rutgers University Recreation.

Prior to coming to Bloomfield he served as the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning

Coach at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY for six and a half years. There he established

the athletic training room, strength & conditioning programs for all sports, concussion policies and

assisted athletics transition from NAIA to become full-fledged members of NCAA Division 111.

Before serving as head ATC at Sarah Lawrence College, Frederic was the first ever full-time athletic

trainer at North Arlington High School establishing the athletic training department and all requisite

policies, protocols and testing.

His schooling and work have included coaching, academic research and National Strength &

Conditioning Association state conference presentations. He also has six years of classroom

instruction experience teaching labs in Exercise Physiology and Exercise Testing & Prescription at

Rutgers University.

Frederic is a graduate of Cook College, Rutgers University with a B.S. in Exercise Science & Sports

Studies and Seton Hall University with a M.S. in Athletic Training.

Frederic is a Certified Athletic Trainer licensed in NJ and NY, Strength & Conditioning Coach with

the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), and a Level 1 Olympic Weight Lifting

Coach with United States of America Weightlifting (USAW). He also holds certifications in

CPR/AED with the American Heart Association (AHA) and is a Punk Rope-Certified Jump Rope

Instructor with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Frederic enjoys working out, cooking, reading, watching movies, playing guitar and spending time

with family and friends.
