A Colombia native, Jorge played soccer and received a bachelors degree in Fitness and Health Promotion at Colorado Mesa University. At Mesa, they were the 2021 NCAA D2 RMAC conference champions and reached the Sweet 16.

Jorge played for the U20 America De Cali, before coming to the US to play for Camden County CC, who were conference champions in 2018. He went on to be LSC Conference Champion with Laredo Heat in 2019, USL League 2 Conference Champion with Park City Red Wolves, and before coming to Newman University, was part of  West Texas FC, making the LSC tournament.
