Liam McIntosh '19 enters his fourth year as a volunteer assistant goalkeeper coach of the men's soccer program in the 2022-23 school year.

McIntosh's direction was key in the 2019 campaign as the Blue Streaks tied an OAC record of "goals allowed" with 2 over the 11 games in conference play.

Under McIntosh's instruction, Connor Robinson anchored the Blue Streaks in net in spring 2021, allowing only 5 goals en route to an undefeated 10-0 campaign, an OAC Championship, and a No. 1 ranking in Division III. Robinson continued to anchor the Blue Streaks under McIntosh's guidance in the fall of 2021, as the Blue Streaks won the OAC Tournament Championship and reached the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, McIntosh enjoyed a stellar playing career at John Carroll earning OAC Goalkeeper of the Year honors twice (2016 & 2018). He also was selected for All-OAC honors all four years he was on the roster. McIntosh owns the program record for most career victories by a goalkeeper with 53 breaking JCU Hall of Fame inductee Michael Lyons (1991-1994) number of 51.

McIntosh graduated in May of 2019 with a degree in computer science and minor in entrepreneurship.
