Liam McKersie re-joins the Emerson Men's Soccer coaching staff as the Head Coach for the 2023 season. McKersie spent the last two season with the Lions as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. McKersie has earned his U.S. Soccer National D Coaching License.  He graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Penn. with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish.  Most recently, he earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from Chatham University.

McKersie completed his college soccer career in the fall of 2018 as part of Allegheny College's men's soccer team where he served as a two-year captain and was a 2nd team All-NCAC selection in 2018. He was also named the team defensive MVP in 2017 and 2018. He served as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Chatham University from 2019 to 2021 where he helped start the brand new Division III Men's Soccer program at Chatham. He also completed a Master of Arts in Psychology at Chatham and recently completed his U.S. Soccer D License in the Spring of 2021.
