Patrick “Logan” Deese M.Ed., LAT, ATC 

Logan Deese began working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Charlotte 49ers in the Spring of 2022. His primary responsibility is to provide medical coverage for the Men’s Soccer program and oversee the intern Athletic Trainer with the Mens and Women’s Tennis programs. He also serves as a preceptor for UNC Charlotte’s Master of Science in Athletic Training Education (MSAT) program.

Prior to coming to Charlotte, Logan served as an Assistant Fellow Athletic Trainer at The University of Memphis. While in Memphis, he supported and assisted the Head Football Athletic Trainer in all aspects of athletic healthcare for the TIger’s Football program.

In 2018 he received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Wingate University. Upon graduation he became an Intern Athletic Trainer at Campbell University. His primary sporting assignments included men’s soccer and women’s swimming. After a year he transitioned into the graduate assistant program and earned his Master of Education in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Exercise Science. As a Graduate Assistant, he worked with the Football and Co-ed Cheerleading programs. Logan also served as a preceptor for Campbell's Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training program.

He is a Certified Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification and licensed in North Carolina. Additionally, he is also certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) as a Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider.

The Rockingham, North Carolina native currently resides in Charlotte with his dog, Boogie.
