Mark Sleasman is entering his fourth season as the Oilers assistant coach in 2023. Sleasman has an overall record of 20-21-5 as the assistant coach of the Oilers. He has coached twelve all-Great Midwest players and one all-region selection.The 2022 season ended in the G-MAC Quarterfinals to Lake Erie College, who would go onto the Final Four of the NCAA DII Men's Soccer Tournament. The Oilers finished the season with a 9-8-1 record. Findlay had four players named all-conference with the headline coming from Brendan Ash who won the Elite 26 Award. Six players were also selected to the Academic All-District Men's Soccer Teams by the College Sports Communicators. Sleasman led the Oilers to a 8-9-1 overall record and 7-6-1 record in conference play during the 2021 campaign. He led five players to earn G-MAC all-conference while sophomore Nick McCracken went on to earn second team all-region. Sleasman played for the Oilers under head coach Andy Smyth from 2012-15 and finished his career with 25 goals and 12 assists. He was named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in 2013 and was voted second team all-GLIAC in 2014 and 2015.
