Martinez comes to Cal State Fullerton after spending last season as the goalkeepers coach for the women’s soccer program at Fresno State. The Bulldogs went 9-6-4 and lost in penalty kicks of the Mountain West Championship game with Martinez on staff. Under his tutelage, the team tied the conference low in goals allowed. Martinez also served as the goalkeepers coach at the College of the Sequoias for the past two seasons where the team clinched its first ever conference title during the 2021 season.
