Neil Hilton is entering the fifth season of his second stint on the OC men's soccer staff in 2019, after spending two seasons as an assistant coach for OC's women's team and the 2012 season as a student assistant for the Eagles.

Hilton, 31, enjoyed a stellar four-year playing career as a midfielder for the Eagles. He earned All-Sooner Athletic Conference second-team honors as a junior and All-SAC first-team honors as a senior. He graduated with his bachelor's degree in 2012 and his master's degree in 2014, both from OC.

The Liverpool, England, native tied a single-season school record with 11 assists in 2011 and added six goals, helping the Eagles post an 8-6-4 mark and reach the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament. A four-year starter, Hilton finished his OC career with 20 goals and 25 assists.

During his playing career, Hilton also worked three seasons as an assistant boys and girls coach at Yukon High School. He just finished his fifth season as Yukon’s boys head coach.

He also briefly served as an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Energy team in the United Soccer League in 2017. Hilton holds a "D" National Soccer Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation, a National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Diploma from what is now known as the United Soccer Coaches and a Level 1 and 2 Coaching License from The Football Association in his native England.
