ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Rob Reagan was initially hired as an interim assistant coach to serve under interim head coach Bill Schaefer in August of 2023, before being named full-time assistant coach in March of 2024 and is now in his second season with the program.

It is Reagan’s second stint with South Dakota Mines as he served in a similar role in 2017, the program’s best year in history.

In Reagan’s first year back with the program, Rider Grow was named RMAC Player of the Week when he received the defensive award, becoming the first Hardrocker player to earn the RMAC weekly honor since 2017, also when Reagan was on staff.

While at Rapid City Stevens, Reagan has helped lead the program to two state championship appearances.

Reagan was a significant piece in building up the Black Hills Rapids Soccer Club, serving with them from their inception in 2014 as a coach and assistant director of coaching, creating training and helping find and train other coaches.

The most recent coaching responsibilities with the soccer club included coaching the U19 female team and U13 boys team.

Coaching certifications include United Soccer Coaches A Diploma and the United States Soccer Federation C License.

In addition to his soccer experience, Reagan is the Program Director for Business & Technology in addition to teaching at Western Dakota Technical College in Rapid City.

Reagan played for Briar Cliff University from 1994-96 and graduated from Black Hills State University (1999) with a bachelor’s degree in business administration before going on to earn his master’s degree in business administration from Webster University (2003).
