Robbie Sobczak is an assistant coach for the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota men’s soccer team, a position he has held since the start of the 2023-24 academic school year.

Sobczak graduated from Saint Mary’s in 2020 after completing a stellar four-year career for the Cardinals. A three-time honorable-mention All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection — earning the honor following both his junior and senior seasons — Sobczak played in 68 career games for Saint Mary’s, scoring 11 goals and adding four assists for 26 points.

A native of Cloquet, Minn., Sobczak was also a mainstay on the Cardinal men’s tennis team, where he competed all four years, compiling a 29-25 career record in singles play — including a career-best 11-5 showing in 2017.
