Ryan Swartzentruber begins his seventh year working under Head Coach Potteiger. He enjoyed three years of club coaching experience with the Mount Vernon Sting Association, along with being a Goalkeeping Academy trainer and Columbus Crew Youth goalkeeper coach.

Swartzentruber received several honors in his career for success on the pitch as well as in the classroom at Mount Vernon University (Ohio). He earned CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors in 2011 and 2012. The 2012 season also saw Swartzentruber named to the NCCAA Scholar-Athlete and NAIA Scholar-Athlete lists.

Coach Potteiger said, “Ryan continues to be key fixture within our coaching staff. Our goalkeeping position has arguably been our most consistent position over the last six years and Ryan should receive a lot of credit for that. He is very good at what he does and fully bought in to the culture of our team. He is someone who I hope continues with our staff for the years to come.”
