Silvio will join head coach Sam Koenig's staff ahead of the 2023 season and is returning to Loras after starting his career with the Duhawks (2018-19), before finishing at Carthage College (2020-22). 

"Loras is a special school that emphasizes excellence in the classroom and on the pitch," said Gkizas . "I would define coaching at Loras to be a passion of mine because I want to help young adults achieve great things throughout their four years as a student-athlete."

Following his collegiate career, he spent time playing for the USA Academy, Chicago Fire Academy, and Chicago Inter SC. 

Silvio graduated from Carthage College in 2022 and works at at Cottingham & Butler as a Financial Services Representative.
