Xavier Tomlin, a class of 2019 graduate and former Centre forward, joined the Centre men's soccer team as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in the Summer of 2019.

Most recently, he helped the Colonels record the greatest season in program history, going 20-4-1 overall while reaching the NCAA Final Four. Centre finished No. 4 in the final United Soccer Coaches Poll, winning the SAA Tournament while toppling a handful of ranked opponents on its way to the national semifinals. Alexander Garuba was named All-American, and was joined by Michael Vogt on the All-Region list. Centre boasted seven All-SAA selections, as well.

Tomlin was an Economics and Finance major, and is currently pursuing his Master's at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan.

On the field, Tomlin was part of two NCAA Tournament appearances and two Southern Athletic Association Tournament championships.

The Peoria, Ariz., native is a graduate of Centennial High School where he earned All-District 1st Team Forward. During his high school years, Tomlin played in the Developmental Academy league for Andromeda FC from 2014-2015 as well as for FC Golden State out of Pasadena, Calif. The latter held the #1 club team spot in the nation as well as winning the National League Regular Season during his tenure.
