Abbey Hoisington, who played from 2018-2022 for the SMSU soccer team, begins her first season as an assistant coach for the program in 2023.

Hoisington assists in game management for SMSU athletic events as well as other special projects throughout the academic year. 

A five-year letter winner, academic All-NSIC member and 2019 All-NSIC second team member from Chantilly, Va., Hoisington scored 16 goals and recorded 12 assists in 65 games, including 48 starts. She ranks fourth in program history with five game winning goals, eighth in assists, and third in single season assists with eight.
