Amber Carlson joined the Yellow Jackets as Assistant Coach in August of 2022.

Prior to taking on a coaching role, Carlson played soccer at BHSU in 2020 and 2021, totaling 15 starts in 23 games played, 12 shots, five on goal and an assist. She was named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll in 2021.

Before that, she played at Laramie County Community College for two years, competing in two NJCAA National Tournaments and finishing top-5 in the country both years. There, Carlson scored one goal on seven shots and one shot on goal over 19 games as a freshman, and a goal and two assists on 11 shots and five on goal starting all 19 games as a sophomore.

Carlson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business in 2022.
