Andrew Tanner was named assistant coach for the men's and women's soccer programs in the summer of 2022. Tanner will mainly be responsible for training the Pacers' goalkeepers on both teams.

Tanner played four years at Emmanuel where they transitioned from NAIA to Division II. A starter for three years at Emmanuel College, Tanner played varsity soccer at Harrison high school in Georgia. Tanner also played semi-professionally with Club The Strongest GA in the UPSL and also played R3PL for West GA United. He was also a two-year captain for the Forest Rovers FC in the UPSL. 

Tanner completed internships with the United States Naval Academy where he was the Assistant to the Athletic Director and with Emmanuel College's women's team where he coached the goalkeepers.  In addition, Tanner served as Facilities Coordinator for Kennesaw State University's baseball program and is a Youth Ministry Volunteer with Freedom Church/First Baptist Church. 

Tanner earned a Sport Management degree from Emmanuel College in Georgia in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Secondary Education at Liberty University in Virginia. He is an avid Disc Golfer and co-founded the disc golf program at Emmanuel.
