Antonio Hernandez-Escobar joined Pacific in December 2021 after spending several years in the sports medicine field. He works directly with women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, women's cross country, women's track and men's and women's swimming. 

Before Pacific, he was employed at Mamba Sports Academy (MSA) where he worked closely with doctors of physical therapy and athlete performance professionals in implementing and coaching rehabilitation and strength training programs for collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes across a variety of sports.

Prior to MSA, Hernandez-Escobar worked at several sports medicine clinics in the Bay Area and simultaneously interned with San Jose State’s athletic performance program. During the internship, he was given the opportunity to work directly with several sports including football, soccer, volleyball, swimming and diving and gymnastics.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University and is certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
