Austin is currently a graduate student studying Sports Management. He started playing soccer in Ghana, West Africa at the age of 5. He continued playing soccer when he moved to the United States in 2012 and competed in Track and Field for Park Center IB World School located in Brooklyn Park Minnesota. He competed at the Varsity level in both sports and was the Captain, an All-state, All-Conference, All-Metro, and All-District student-athlete the five years he competed at the Varsity level.

Alongside Austin's experience, he worked for Case Staffing Solution a non-profit organization at Super Bowl LII in 2018. Austin proceeded to showcase his coaching ability at Revolutionary Sports kids camp over the summer of 2021 and was involved in this year's summer sports camp with Dash Sports as a coach. He also proceeded to work for Minnesota United FC as a Stadium Operations Staff. During Austin's undergraduate year at Minnesota  State University Mankato, he worked as a supervisor at the University Recreation Center for four years, was a Gatorade team lead for Paragon Marketing Group in 2022, worked Gameday Marketing with Mankato United WPSL soccer club in 2022, and also proceeded to intern with the Athletic Department Sports Operations in 2021. Austin is currently a soccer official for Boreal FC, the National Sports Center, and the NFHS which is all affiliated with USA Soccer Federation. Austin also officiated in this year's 2023 USA Cup in Blaine Minnesota. As a student assistant, Austin's optimal goal is to continuously expand his knowledge with such an experienced, intellectual, and fantastic coaching staff with a successful team/program.
