Borg will be entering her first season with the Delaware State women's soccer team.
Borg most recently comes from Millsaps College, Division III competing in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA). During her time with Millsaps, she helped coach the team in the 2020 season to their first conference win in over five years as well as coaching goalkeeper Alyssa McCarron to SAA Defensive Player of the Week and SAA Honorable Mention for the 2020 season. She also helped coach forward Mary Ranager and defender Mattie Marks who were also SAA Honorable Mentions for the 2020 season. In the 2019 season, she helped coach goalkeeper Maddie Moore, midfielder Kim Manley, and defender Heather Hembree to SAA Honorable Mention selections.
Prior to Millsaps, Borg was the junior varsity head coach at Harrisonburg HS for the 2019 season, she led her team to a 13-2 record. She also assisted the varsity team which won the regular season for their district, as well as having one player recognized to the first-team all-district and two players to the second-team all-district.
Before her stint at Harrisonburg HS, Borg spent two seasons as the assistant coach at Bard College, Division III competing in the Liberty League, in the 2017 season she helped coach the team to the best start of the season in history at a 5-1 start. She helped coach one player to the first team All-Liberty League & All-East Third Team. During the 2016 season, she helped coach three players to All-Liberty League Honorable Mention.
As a player, Borg spent four seasons at Eastern Mennonite University, a Division III competing in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). During her time there she broke the school record for most saves in a season as the starting goalkeeper in 2015; the record still stands today at 170 saves. With 170 saves, she was ranked 13th in the nation at the NCAA DIII level. She also stands second in the record books at EMU for career saves of 439 saves. As a senior in 2015, she went seven straight games that averaged 13 or more saves per game. Borg was a dual athlete who also competed for the track and field team. In her senior season she was a Second Team All-Conference for Discus in 2016, and Third Team All-Conference for Javelin 2013. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology and Coaching.
She also has her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition from Liberty University.
