Bobby Desilets was named the Head Coach of Women's Soccer at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May of 2022. He becomes first full-time head coach since 2014 as the program enters its 35th season this fall. Desilets arrives from Wheaton College, where he was the Head Women's Soccer Coach for six seasons.

In his first season at the helm of UMass Dartmouth, Desilets guided the Corsairs to wins over Salem State, Lasell and Plymouth State, in addition to draws against Roger Williams, Worcester State and Eastern Connecticut. Ten players recorded at least one point on the season, while graduate student Kait Bernier, sophomore Kaitlyn Nguyen and rookie Veronica Bock were all tabbed to the All-LEC Third Team at season's end.

During his time in Norton, Desilets compiled a 42-23-10 record, while earning a playoff berth in the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament in every season. Desilet's leadership helped produced seven All-Conference selections and five All-Region recipients, including the 2017 NEWMAC Rookie of the Year.

Prior to Wheaton, Desilets was the Head Coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Desilets rebuilt the Leopards into a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contender guiding them to their first-ever CCC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. Building off a successful 2015 season that saw Desilets named both the CCC and ECAC New England Coach of the Year, while seven of his players were named All-CCC. The 2016 squad captured many firsts, including hoisting the first conference championship for any female sport in Wentworth history.

A Burrillville, R.I., native, Desilets was a four-year standout in men's soccer at Bowdoin College, helping the Polar Bears to a 43-17-5 record during his career and an appearance in the 2003 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament. During his junior campaign he was named both First Team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference and Third Team All-New England region. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and History from Bowdoin and earned his master's degree from Northeastern University.
