Brie Campbell joined the Jessup Athletics family in the summer of 2016, bringing to Jessup several years of experience in multiple arenas, including high school, college, minor league and professional sports. The summer of 2023 saw Campbell’s role grow into more of an executive leadership position with the growth of the Senior Woman Administrator title.

When Campbell came to the Warriors, she did so as the university’s Sports Information Director. Her hard work paid off in 2019 with the promotion to Assistant Athletic Director of Communications, adding the SWA title in the process.

On top of her administrative duties, Campbell also leads Jessup’s softball program, a team that won the 2022 GSAC regular season and tournament championships under Campbell. The 2022 Warriors won a program record 39 games, resulting in the team’s first trip to the NAIA Opening Round. In recognition for her team’s success, Campbell was rightfully honored as the GSAC Coach of the Year.

On the national level, Campbell has added more awards to her resume. Three times, Campbell has taken first place in the NAIA-SIDA Publications & Media Contest (Feature Video - 2018; Motion Graphics - 2021; Motion Graphics - 2022). Campbell's work on motion graphics also earned her first prize in the 2022 CoSIDA Publications & Digital Design Contest, honoring the best in athletics communications amongst all levels of college athletics.

Campbell relinquished her oversight of the communications team in the summer of 2023, but she is still responsible for the updating and management of Jessup’s brand, logo, and color scheme. In her new roles as the sole SWA, Campbell will work closely with VP for Athletics Lance Von Vogt regarding topics such as Title IX, budget, scholarships, and the student-athlete experience.

Her day-to-day tasks also include being the sports administrator for Jessup’s women’s soccer, cross country, and track & field programs.

"We feel very fortunate to have landed an individual as talented as Brie Campbell," stated Athletic Director Lance Von Vogt. "Her visible Christian faith will serve our student-athletes, department and university well."

Previously, Campbell worked at Jim Elliot Christian High School in Lodi, California, her alma mater, where she was involved in multiple facets of the school.  She served as the technology and communications specialist on campus while doing the school and sports marketing, teaching while also coaching volleyball and basketball. "It was a great opportunity to move closer to family and be able to give back to a school that gave me so much when I was an Eagle over 10 years ago," stated Campbell.

Before taking a hiatus from full-time sports, Campbell worked for the Big West Conference for two years in Irvine, California as the Assistant Director of New Media and Marketing.  Her experience included sports information for multiple sports, social media management, graphics and conference tournament management.  Since her departure she continued to volunteer at the Big West Basketball Tournament each year at Honda Center in Anaheim.

"Brie is a skilled and passionate worker who brings a wealth of experience that will assist in moving our athletic department forward," commented Von Vogt. "She comes to us highly recommended by our own GSAC Conference office as well as the Big West Conference where she was previously employed. In her new role, Brie will also serve as our Senior Women Administrator, assisting with our continued commitment to Title IX compliance while specifically supporting our female coaches and athletes."

With a bachelor's degree from Fresno State in Mass Communication and Journalism, and a master's from the University of Memphis in Sports Communication, Campbell's education and experience in those years solidified her passion for athletics.  While in school she had the opportunity to work for both university athletic departments, as well as serving in an internship for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, and Triple A baseball's Memphis Redbirds.

"I am excited to get back to college athletics and use my experience and skills to better Jessup Athletics and the university as a whole," concluded Campbell.

Originally from Stockton, CA, Campbell now resides minutes from the Jessup campus in Lincoln.
