Former Fairleigh Dickinson and Maryland standout Christa Waterman joins the Mount St. Mary's coaching staff beginning with the 2023 season. 

The assistant position is Waterman's first at the collegiate level. She holds additional experience working with the Celtic Girls Academy in Baltimore. Alongside expertise in the soccer circuit, she has held a variety of jobs in both the healthcare and culinary fields. 

Waterman played 76 games across five seasons between FDU and Maryland. She was named an All-NEC First Team for three consecutive years, starting as a sophomore. Logging over 5,000 minutes played at FDU, Waterman finished with five goals - including three game-winners. In her ultimate season at Maryland see played in 15 games with 11 starts, adding another 1,000 minutes. 

Originally from Perry Hall, Maryland, Waterman is a graduate of Eastern Tech. She graduated from FDU with a Biology degree, concentrating in Physiology. As of 2023, Waterman in continuing her studies in the Practice and Policy Graduate Program at Maryland's School of Public Health.
