A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Clarke Curfman enters his fifth year as a Sports Performance Specialist with GCU for 2023-24. Curfman works as the strength and conditioning coach for women’s soccer, softball and dance. Curfman first joined the GCU crew as a graduate assistant with track and field, cross country and spirit programs.

Curfman graduated with a degree in Human Movement Science and an emphasis in Exercise Science from Utah State. He worked at Utah as a volunteer assistant within its Sports Performance program from 2016-2018. During that time, he assisted with lacrosse, baseball, softball, skiing, women’s track and field, women’s soccer, cross country, women’s basketball and swimming and diving.

Curfman is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
