Colton joined the Valdosta State University sports medicine staff in July of 2021 and works as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for women's soccer. 

Prior to Valdosta State, Colton earned his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training at Illinois State University. The Central Illinois native, then continued his education and Athletic Training career at the University of North Georgia where he received a Masters in Kinesiology.
