Sanchez Recuero is in her fourth year as a volunteer assistant with the women's soccer program.

She played soccer all four years for the Saints and was a member of the NCAA Division II final four team in 2019. Sanchez Recuero played in all 25 matches with 22 starts last year. She scored a goal and tallied six assists. Her lone goal all season was the game-winner vs. Lincoln Memorial (Nov. 24) in a NCAA Division II second round match. She tallied two assists vs. Young Harris (Sept. 28). She earned academic all-conference honors.

As a junior, Sanchez Recuero played in all 18 matches with eight starts. She cored two goals and added four assists. She netted the eventual game-winning goal at Eckerd (Oct. 23). Sanchez Recuero tallied two assists at Palm Beach Atlantic (Oct. 17). She scored a goal and assisted on another vs. Georgia Southwestern (Oct. 9). Sanchez Recuero was a PBC All-Academic Team member and a PBC Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar.

Her sophomore season she played in 17 matches with 12 starts. Sanchez Recuero tallied three assists in 718 minutes played. She played in a season-high 57 minutes vs. Georgia College (Oct. 7). She was a PBC Presidential Honor Roll Silver Scholar and a D2 ADA award recipient. 

In her first year in the Ancient City, she played in nine matches with one start. She Netted her first collegiate goal vs. Georgia Southwestern (Sept. 28). Sanchez Recuero played a season-high 58 minutes at Clayton State (Oct. 30). She was a PBC Presidential Honor Roll Presidential Scholar.
