Connor Griffin was named Colgate’s Assistant Director of Athletics Communications in October 2021 after previously serving as the Athletics Communications Assistant. 

Griffin arrives in Hamilton after serving as the graduate assistant sports information director for the past year at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Va. Working full-time in sports information while balancing graduate courses, Griffin was the primary contact for 13 NCAA Division III programs.

Prior to his role at Mary Baldwin, Griffin was a student intern at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure, where he began his work in athletics communications in 2019. During his time with the Bonnies, Griffin wrote game previews and feature stories, edited photos, created digital content, and maintained the athletics website.

Griffin also gained valuable experience as an intern for the Geneva Red Wings of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) in the summer of 2019. He broadcasted games on YouTube, tracked live stats for use in broadcasts, and wrote postgame recaps for the website.

A 2020 graduate of St. Bonaventure, Griffin earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism.
