Cricket Basa joined the William & Mary coaching staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2023 season. Basa joins the staff after playing for W&M a year ago. 

Transferring to the program after a three-year stint at University of Vermont, Basa appeared in 13 matches for the Tribe in 2022. She scored a pair of goals, including one in the CAA quarterfinals against Drexel.

Basa enjoyed a successful career with the Catamounts from 2019-2021. She was named Most Outstanding Player of the America East Championship in 2021, helping Vermont to their first ever conference title by scoring the game-winning goal in the championship match. Basa totaled 16 points in her career with the Catamounts. She started her college career at Holy Cross in 2018.

A native of Plainfield, Vt., Basa graduated from Vermont with a degree in exercise science in 2022.  She is currently working towards her MBA at William & Mary in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
