Dan Panaro begins his sixth season as an assistant coach on the Daemen women's soccer staff in 2023. In this role, Panaro assists with all facets of the program, including on-field coaching, scouting of opponents and recruiting.

"I've worked with Danny for a few years at the club level and he's shown a great desire to work with older players," said head coach Dan Dolan at the time of Panaro's hiring prior to the 2018 season. "His passion and exuberance will rub off quickly on the team."

Panaro brings several years of experience, primarily at the club level. He has worked with Empire United Soccer Academy since 2013, and also spent the 2016 season as a volunteer assistant with the women's soccer program at D'Youville College in Buffalo.

A native of Kenmore, Panaro played collegiately at both Erie Community College and Canisius College. He went on to earn an all-star appearance in the National Premier Soccer League while suiting up for FC Buffalo.
