Head Coach Al Alvine added Dave Gray to the Duquesne women's soccer coaching staff for the 2021 season, and he is now entering his second year as an assistant coach for the 2022 season.

Gray previously served as an assistant coach with the Dukes in 2013 and 2014 and returns to the Bluff after a second successful run as the head girl's coach at Upper St. Clair High School since 2015.

Upper St. Clair won its first-ever PIAA Championship in 2015 under Gray's tutelage. Prior to his first stint as a Duquesne assistant coach, Gray was the head coach at Upper St. Clair from 2004-12. He amassed over 200 wins during his two tenures on the Panther sidelines, including a 2011 WPIAL Championship.

Gray has also served as a youth coach with Century United since 2004 and assumed the role of Director of Coaching in 2017. In addition, he spent four years as an assistant coach with the Fort Pitt Regiment of the National Premier Soccer League from 2014-18.

Gray has a USSF "A" license, a USSF National Goalkeeping License and a NSCAA Goalkeeping Diploma.

Gray resides in South Fayette with his wife Rachel and their son, Nicholas.
