Elisa Baeron is in her first year as Assistant Director of Athletic Performance and works directly with women’s soccer.
Prior to MSU, Baeron was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Oakland University from December 2021-July 2023. During her time at Oakland, she directly oversaw women’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s tennis, softball, mid-distance and men’s/women’s golf. She also assisted with men’s soccer, men’s/women’s swim & dive, track and field, men’s basketball, volleyball and baseball. While at Oakland, she was a part of two Horizon League championships with softball and women’s golf.
Baeron began her career at Michigan State University in 2019 as a graduate assistant working with Olympic Sports. After graduating with a master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning in 2021, she was the professional intern for men’s and women’s basketball.
Baeron, a Selsingen, Germany native, came to the United States in 2014 and attended Bowling Green State University. She graduated with a degree in Exercise Science in 2018. As a Division 1 soccer player, she won a MAC Regular season and tournament title in 2018, appearing in the first round of NCAAs. During her last season, she earned the MAC Tournament MVP award and was named an Academic All-American.
Baeron is certified by Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and Reflexive Performance Reset (Levels 1). She resides in Lansing.
