Eric Wiberg is entering his 17th year at UWSP with an emphasis on working with the program's goalkeepers. His work with goalkeepers goes back to his playing days, but more recently he has made a major impact in both the UWSP program and with youth from around the country. Wiberg has helped over 150 youth goalkeepers realize their dream of playing collegiately, some at the highest level college soccer has to offer.

"We are super excited to have the expertise of Eric coaching our goalkeepers here at UWSP. With Eric on staff, we are one of the few DIII teams with a full-time goalkeeper trainer.  We are excited to have Eric and his family join our family," stated head coach Dawn Crow.

Wiberg, and his goalkeeper program, WibergWGS train weekly in Stevens Point and WWGS is a proud affiliate of the world's largest goalkeeper camp, Camp Shutout. He will also be attending the International Goalkeepers Conference this summer to further expand his knowledge base.

Wiberg owns a level 1 and 2 goalkeeper diploma and a USSF D license. He is originally from Illinois and has now called Stevens Point his home for 34 years. He and his wife Betsy have two daughters, Annaliese and Allie.
