A native of southern Alabama, Eva Knapstein joined the Badger staff in January 2022. She prepped at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile where she was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for Alabama and second team All America in 2017. She played her college career at Coastal Carolina University as a goalkeeper and graduated in the summer of 2020. She began her coaching career at Fairhope (Ala.) Soccer Academy as a goalkeeper coach and head coach.
