Gray Aust was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletic Communications after graduating from Elon University in May of 2023. 

Aust serves as the primary communications contact for women's soccer, cheer, dance and baseball. He also serves as the secondary communications contact for the men's and women's basketball teams. He took over communication's contact responsibilities for the women's basketball and baseball programs during his senior year at Elon. Aust served as the primary contact for the baseball program during Elon's signature wins over No.2 Wake Forest, No.9 Campbell, and No.14/23 NC State in Raleigh. 

During his time as a student, Aust took part in Elon Athletics Marketing, Sports Information, and Elon Sports Vision. Aust was also a member of the Elon Cheer program during his freshman year. He also worked with the Corn Belt Summer Collegiate Baseball League in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as interning with the Guest Experience staff at the Miami Dolphins. 

A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Aust earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
