Gwyndolyn Ellis, assistant athletic trainer for women’s soccer and softball, also is the director of inventory and purchasing for the athletic training department. She began at ACU in August 2020.

She previously was an intern athletic trainer for volleyball and women’s lacrosse at the United State Naval Academy from July 2019 to May 2020.

Ellis holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from ACU (2017) and a master’s degree in athletic training from Texas A&M University (2019). In addition to being a certified and license athletic trainer, she is a registered nurse and certified or licensed in facial abrasion technique, yoga instructor and is a Level I master in dry needling.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and the Southwest Athletic Trainer’s Association.

Ellis has two dogs, Nike and Athena, and attends Oldham Lane Church of Christ.
