Hannah Matlack is in her second season as an assistant women’s soccer at Babson College in 2023. She was on board in 2022 when the Beavers finished 14-4-1 and posted their best winning percentage (.763) in nearly three decades.

A 2016 graduate of Dickinson College, Matlack was a four-year standout on defense for the Red Devils. A three-time all-region and Centennial Conference first-team selection, Matlack started each of her 66 career games and was a four-time team most valuable player selection.

Matlack began her coaching career at the New Hampton School, where she served as the head varsity girls’ soccer coach along with teaching French. She was a volunteer assistant coach for the U14 girls' team at Falkirk FC in Scotland while earning her master’s degree from the University of Sterling, and spent a year as a coach with the Scorpions Soccer Club beginning in August 2020.

Matlack, who started as an assistant coach in 2018 and is now the soccer coordinator at the Berkshire Soccer Academy during the summer months, has served as an instructor at Semester Off in Wellesley since August 2021.
