Heather Greer enters her first year at the University of South Florida as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary sport responsibility is Women’s Soccer. In this role, she provides injury evaluation, therapeutic intervention strategies, and collaborative sports medicine care for the athletes under her care.

Heather comes to USF after two years working as an assistant athletic trainer at Seattle Pacific University, working with the women’s soccer and women’s basketball programs. While in Seattle, Heather was able to work with and learn from the medical staff for the Seattle Storm and the OL Reign.

Before beginning her career at SPU, Heather attended Grand View University for her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and then again for her graduate degree in athletic training. During her time in grad school, she spent a year of clinical immersion in New York at Marist, working primarily with football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse. Heather graduated from Grand View University in 2021 with her Master of Science in Athletic Training.

Heather is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, Florida License Athletic Trainer, and FMS level 2 certified. She enjoys time outside hiking and exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports.
